After a six-year stint in domestic sales, Bill Young returned to the export sales staff at Wenatchee, Wash.-based Stemilt Growers.
Young started his career with the company in 1987 and worked for many years in export selling apples, pears, cherries, and stone fruit.
Most recently, he managed Stemilt’s domestic sales with some of the largest retailers in North America. On May 23, he returned to the export sales department as export sales representative.
“I’m excited to have Bill back at the export sales desk,” Dave Martin, export sales manager, said in the release. “He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position.”
Young has more than 27 years of experience in the fruit sales industry. He was instrumental in introducing Washington cherries to export markets, including China, according to the release.
