Kelowna, British Columbia-based BC Tree Fruits Ltd. is managing cherry exports with a partnership with Sutherland S.A. Produce.

“We are excited to work with (Sutherland) to market our BC-grown cherries to new international customers. This is a positive step in building our international sales and distribution export strategy,” Rick Austin, director of sales and marketing at BC Tree Fruits, said in a news release.

Sutherland exports and markets internationally with 25 years of experience.

“We are very pleased and excited to be working with BC Tree Fruits this season,” Clive Sutherland, president of Sutherland S.A. Produce Inc, said in the release. “Together we aim to build a strong export program that will benefit all BC cherry growers and the industry as a whole.”
