Red River Valley potato grower-shipper Black Gold Farms has rolled out a new retail marketing campaign.
The “Better With Reds” campaign features a variety of customized retail tools including in-store point-of-sale materials and a consumer-based microsite, according to a news release from Grand Forks, N.D.-based Black Gold Farms.
The company also will use food bloggers and other social media to promote the campaign.
“We want to entice consumers, and provide them with the information necessary at the point-of-purchase, with a variety of easy recipes and prep tips, as well as making that connection with where their food is grown,” Leah Brakke, the company’s marketing specialist, said in the release.
Black Gold’s retail campaign follows a summer locally grown campaign and the introduction of high-graphic packaging.
