C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn., rang the Nasdaq Stock Market opening bell April 11.
John Wiehoff, chief executive officer and chairman of the board, along with a group of 11 employees, participated in the event.
The 11 selected employees were chosen from 650 nominations from coworkers. Several key members of the organization also took part in the ceremony, according to a news release.
“Our people have enabled C.H. Robinson to attain consistent, long-term performance that few corporations can match. We could not have accomplished this feat without their contributions and enjoyed celebrating during the opening bell ceremony,” Wiehoff said in the release.
