The technical director of the Safe Quality Food Institute, LeAnn Chuboff, is adding to her duties, as the institute’s new senior technology director.

As part of her added role, she will direct the technical aspects of the program, like guidelines, training, food safety standards and certification protocols, according to a news release.

Chuboff has more than 20 years experience in the foodservice industry, particularly in safety and quality assurance. Before she joined the institute in the summer of 2009, she was director of science and regulatory relations for National Restaurant Association Solutions, according to the release, and she graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s in food science.

“LeAnn’s academic training and years of experience in the food industry make her a strategic part of the SQF team,” the institute’s senior vice president Robert Garfield said in the release.
