Doane Advisory Services is scheduling industry speakers and financial strategists from the agricultural economic community for its annual Agricultural Outlook Conference Oct. 21-22 in St. Louis.

Doane agricultural conference set for Oct. 21-22Speakers planning to cover major food industry trends and other topics include Lynn Dornblaser from the London-based Mintel Group Ltd., Craig Morris with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Pat Westoff with the University of Missouri’s Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute.

Doane also plans a panel of expert economists, according to a news release.

“The conference theme, ‘Agriculture – Navigating the Uncertainty’ will provide a valuable picture of the expectation for agriculture,” Shane Jones, Doane’s general manager, said in the release. “Anyone that is impacted by the agriculture segment will benefit from attending. We will have representatives from agribusiness, financial firms, food processors, and restaurant chains.”
