Dole Fresh Vegetables is donating a portion of sales of its salad blends and kits to the Marc’s Feed the Children campaign in northeastern Ohio.

Marc’s operates more than 55 retail outlets in Ohio. Monterey, Calif.-based Dole is one of 27 brands participating in the 10th-annual campaign.

Beneficiaries include the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland, Haven of Rest Ministries, Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, and Mid-Ohio Foodbank of Columbus. The fundraiser runs Oct. 3 through Nov. 22.

The holiday program has provided more than 1 million meals to the hungry, Marc’s marketing director Day Armelli said in a news release.

“The Marc’s team is extremely passionate and committed to the Feed the Children initiative, and Dole is honored to partner with them this season,” Kellee Miller, Dole Fresh Vegetables’ senior manager of shopper marketing, said in the release.
