Duda Farm Fresh Foods plans to offer custom cocktails at some Monterey, Calif., restaurants and bars during the Produce Marketing Association Foodservice Conference & Expo.

The conference runs July 26-28.

The cocktails feature the company’s fresh celery, Meyer lemon and Citrine products. The aim is to showcase Duda’s ability to provide foodservice clients with fresh produce items that inspire creativity.

“By offering the PMA guests a taste of Duda’s fresh products in restaurants and bars across Monterey, our hope is to not only delight people but to ignite ideas about how products like Meyer lemons and clementines can accompany celery on the cocktail list at your foodservice establishment,” director of marketing Nichole Towell said in a news release.

It starts with a complimentary cocktail tasting July 27 at Cibo Italian Restaurant from 10 p.m. to midnight. The three cocktails are:

  • Dandy Meyer lemon martini;
  • Dandy celery martini; and
  • Citrine champagne cocktail.

Dandy celery and Meyer lemons are planned as cocktail garnishes at restaurants like Jacks Restaurant & Lounge at Portola Hotel & Spa; Schooners Coastal Kitchen & Bar in the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa; and Three Flags Cafe in the Monterey Marriott Hotel.

At the July 28 expo, Duda Farm Fresh Foods will offer trade show visitors and attendees complimentary cocktails and tacos at booth No. 137.
