A series of hires and promotions at San Francisco-based Earl’s Organic Produce include a salesman and two buyers.
Anthony Mirisciotta has joined the company as a sales associate. He was previously manager of the Deep Root Organic Co-op, Vermont. His other experience included a role as a produce buyer for C&S Wholesale Grocers.
Rodrigo Velasquez, who spent the last seven years as a global produce buyer for Whole Foods Market, is now a fruit buyer at Earl’s Organic Produce.
Ethan Abendroth, previously inbound manager and director of quality assurance at Earl’s, has been promoted to a buyer in the purchasing department.
He has 25 years of experience in the organic produce industry.
Jacob Levy was promoted to manager of the quality assurance and receiving department, according to a news release.
Max Rosa, previously administrative assistant, is now working in quality assurance and inbound.
Michele Smith-Jeffries was promoted from accounts receivable to accounting manager.
Earl’s Organic Produce also hired Marie Koesnodihardjo as accounting and administrative assistant, and Vianney Trujillo as administrative assistant.
