Steven Butt, senior vice president of H-E-B’s Central Market Division, will address the United Fresh 2012 Exhibitor Forum Dec. 13-14 at the Dallas Convention Center.

Butt will share his views on the retail industry along with his approach to trade shows, according to a news release.

Attendees of the forum will be able to meet with exhibitors from the American Meat Institute, Food Marketing Institute and National Association of State Departments of Agriculture in preparation for the United Fresh convention in May in Dallas.

Participants will be able to network with United Fresh staff and industry colleagues at the following events:

Idea Exchange: A reception, a breakfast and group lunch where attendees can interact with peers from the meat institute, FMI and state agriculture department association.

Research Presentation: A news session about research on the current state of tradeshows and business trends in produce, meat and food industries with an emphasis on research and maximizing marketing investment.

Vendor Forum: Information on cost-saving discounts and efficient ways to handle booth logistics.

United Fresh Promotion Clinic: United Fresh exhibitors will break into sessions to speak about pre-show promotion strategies.

Tour of the Dallas Convention Center: Participants can preview exhibition space for the May show, along with other key locations at the convention center.
