BroccoLeaf, an organic broccoli leaves product that began shipping last fall under The Nunes Co.’s Foxy label, has been featured in a variety of print, broadcast and online media since its rollout.
Coverage has appeared in magazines and outlets including Prevention, InStyle, Fine Cooking, Good Housekeeping, Dr. Oz The Good Life, Shape.com, Slate.com, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, Yahoo.com and food blogs.
BroccoLeaf has appeared on television and broadcast news shows including The Rachael Ray Show, KABC-TV in Los Angeles, Fox32 in Chicago and Fox5 in Washington, D.C.
Chefs including Spike Mendelsohn, Nora Pouillon and Akasha Richmond have incorporated it in menu items, according to a news release.
Among the suggested uses is juicing.
“Our fans and distribution grows daily, and we believe that we have discovered the next big trend in produce,” Matt Seeley, vice president of marketing for Salinas, Calif.-based The Nunes Co., said in the release.
