Full Tilt Marketing, which specializes in fresh produce, is partnering with national food bloggers for a cookbook promotion that celebrates food movements while donating to local food banks.

Christina Pittman of Cook The Story (http://www.cookthestory.com) and Jennifer Dempsey of Mother Thyme (http://www.motherthyme.com), the cookbook’s organizers, called on help from more than 30 of their blogging peers to create “Where Slow Food and Whole Food Meet: Healthy Slow Cooker Dinners From Our Kitchens to Yours,” a cookbook focusing on fresh and affordable ingredients, according to a news release. The book is available starting Sept. 8 and is expected to retail for around $20, with all proceeds from the sales donated to the Food Bank of Central Florida.

With the help of Full Tilt Marketing, the bloggers are finding sponsors and food banks around the country to support Hunger Action Month this September and to raise funds to support the Food Bank of Central Florida and more than a dozen other food banks in the U.S. Full Tilt will also help host social media events, giveaways and various public relations initiatives.
