Greatwide Logistics Services hired former United Airlines president John Tague as its chief executive officer.
Leo Suggs is retiring as CEO of the Dallas-based logistics company, but will continue to serve as chairman, according to a news release.
Tague, 49, had responsibility for all airline management at his previous job, where he worked for eight years. Before being president of Chicago-based United Airlines, his other positions included chief operating officer and chief revenue officer.
Suggs, 71, joined Greatwide as executive chairman in 2009. He was named CEO a year later.
The company is a third-party logistics provider serving the U.S. and Canada and is a leading provider of dedicated refrigerated transportation, according to the release.
