Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC has introduced a new line of potatoes for the fresh-cut fry and chip market.

The Kingston Fryer line was developed with the help of corporate chefs in test kitchens throughout the country, according to a news release from Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Kingston.

To ensure quality, potatoes for the Fryer line must meet tight tolerances for solids and sugar testing, which help ensure consistently golden brown fries.

“We manage the supply chain in a way that is unique to the industry,” Nick Proia, Kingston’s vice president of business development, said in the release. “Once our select product is sourced, Kingston digitally monitors the temperature of the truck from shipping point all the way to the distribution center where, upon arrival, the potatoes are again tested to ensure QA specs remain intact.”
