LoBue Citrus has named Norm Gatineau vice president of sales and marketing.

Gatineau, who spent the last 10 years at Bee Sweet Citrus overseeing sales and business development, will start July 8 at Lindsay, Calif.-based LoBue Citrus.

His responsibilities include managing the sales department, developing marketing strategy and new business, and working with retail and wholesale buyers on category development, according to a news release.

Gatineau has more than 30 years of experience in the produce industry. His career started in the 1980s at Dole Fresh Fruit as a district sales manager. He’s also worked for Sun Pacific Shippers in citrus, grape and tomato marketing, and in citrus and grapes at Sales King International, among other positions.

“We are looking forward to having Norm join our LoBue Citrus team,” Philip LoBue president and chief executive officer, said in the release. “It is crucial that we seek out talented individuals from the produce industry, allowing us to further serve our customers and continue to be an expert in the citrus category.”

LoBue Citrus grows, packs and ships citrus products that include navel oranges, specialty citrus, lemons and juice.
