Food safety specialist NSF Davis Fresh has changed its name to NSF Agriculture.
The name change reflects the company’s expansion into non-produce categories, according to a news release from Ann Arbor, Mich.-based NSF Agriculture, a division of NSF International.
Long a provider of food safety services for the produce industry in the U.S. and Latin America, NSF Agriculture now offers similar programs for livestock, poultry and egg producers.
The company also has expanded its GlobalGAP certification services and hired additional food safety experts and auditors.
