NSF International, Ann Arbor, Mich., has promoted Tom Chestnut to senior vice president of NSF’s global food division and Chandana Kathuria to senior vice president and chief information officer/Lean Program leader.

Chestnut has more than 25 years of food safety experience and has worked for NSF for eight years, most recently serving as vice president of NSF’s global food division, according to a news release. Chestnut helped establish the Food Safety Leadership Council and was awarded Industry Sanitarian of the Year by the National Environmental Health Association.

Before joining NSF, Chestnut worked at Darden for more than 20 years, serving as vice president of total quality and international director of product safety and quality, the release said.

Kathuria has more than 24 years of information technology experience, which includes 11 years at NSF.
