Grapple brand flavored apples will be available again this year.

Grapples are among the first flavored apples available in the season, according to a news release from Wenatchee, Wash.-based Columbia Marketing International.

Columbia Marketing and Selah, Wash.-based Rainier Fruit Co. are the exclusive producers of Grapples — pronounced “grape-L,” according to the label. The apples are infused with water and grape flavoring to give them the taste of Concord grapes, according to the release.

Columbia Marketing and Rainier distribute Grapple apples to customers and to other Washington apple shippers.
