The Oppenheimer Group, Vancouver, British Columbia, has two new staffers in its sales and marketing departments.

Rob Campbell returned to the company as a sales representative in its Newark, Del., office. His focus will be on berry sales, but he will also market the full Oppy range to customers in the Eastern U.S., according to a news release.

He previously worked for Oppy beginning in the late 1990s when he led a Zespri kiwifruit sampling staff Oppy adds to sales, marketing staffsin Eastern Europe. He also worked for Oppy’s quality control staff from 2001-05.

Campbell has been working in the berry category for several years. He was a sales representative for Fisher Capespan USA, Glouster City, N.J., Giumarra VBM, Avondale, Pa. He also opened a sales office for Berry Fresh in Gloucester City. Most recently, Campbell sold berried for Pure Fresh in Kennett Square, Pa., according to the release.

In Oppy’s Chicago office, Angie Hanson is now a business development representative. She is responsible for creating supply programs and executing promotions with retail and wholesale customers in the Midwest.

Oppy adds to sales, marketing staffsHanson has more than five years of produce experience, but most recently worked outside of the industry as an account manager with Kansas City, Mo.-based advertising firm Diamond Merckens Hogan.

Before that, Hanson spent 2010-11 as the communications and industry affairs manager for the California Avocado Commission in Irvine. She was marketing and public relations manager for garlic grower-shipper Christopher Ranch, Gilroy, Calif., and was a reporter for The Packer from 2005 through 2008.

Hanson’s territory includes North and South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana.
