Owyhee Produce, Nyssa, Ore., has entered a partnership with Locus Traxx Worldwide that will allow its customers to track and monitor load temperature and location.
The onion grower-shipper is using Locus Traxx’s SmartTraxx GO system.
“We will never have to worry about losing communication with a load in transit because we are guaranteed transparency and visibility at our fingertips,” Shay Myers, Owyhee Produce chief executive officer, said in a news release. “We hope that this exclusive agreement … will help demonstrate the value we see in this great product.”
Locus Traxx Worldwide, Jupiter, Fla., manages food safety by combining technologies that deliver information faster and efficiently, president and chief executive officer David Benjamin said in the release.
