The U.S. Department of Agriculture has temporarily lifted a Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act sanction against Mass Produce Inc., Racine, Wis.
The case involves a $10,413 claim in favor of a Texas company, according to PACA documents. Although a default order was awarded in favor of the Texas seller, Mass Produce’s PACA suspension was lifted due to “circumstances involving the delivery attempts of the default order,” according to an e-mail to Randy Massruha from John Koller, chief of PACA’s Dispute Resolution Branch.
Randy and Jane Massruha are listed as principals of Mass Produce.
According to the e-mail, Mass Produce has until March 15 to pay the Texas company, Eddy Produce.
With the suspension lifted, there are no employment restrictions on the Massruhas.
