Jason Osborne is the new sales and technical representative for Pace International LLC in the Northeast U.S. and Canada.

The addition of Osborne is part of the Wapato, Wash.-based company’s expansion of its Pacific Northwest staff in technical, field and lab departments, according to a March 30 news release.

Greg Lyons, director of northern U.S. sales for Pace, said in the release that Osborne’s education and experience in pomology was a key factor in the decision to hire him. Osborne has a bachelor’s degree in sustainable agriculture from the University of Maine and a master’s degree in pomology from Cornell University.

Osborne worked for eight years in the pome and stone fruit industry in New York. Most recently he worked as eastern sales manager for a bio-pesticide company in Florida.
