Potandon Produce LLC has added a section to its website devoted to trade customers and retailers.

A new homepage tab – Trade – links to resources on merchandising, field to fork, sell sheets and point-of-sale materials.

“It has always been part of our category management strategy to provide a wide variety of tools to help drive potato sales, and by making this information easily available to retail should bring huge benefits,” Ralph Schwartz, vice president of marketing, sales and innovation for Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Potandon, said in a news release.

The merchandising area focuses on best practices in displaying fresh potatoes and offers various sample planograms covering different fixture layouts in a downloadable document. A video demonstrates techniques to be used at store level.

Under field to fork, customers can see a video on the entire potato growing process. High resolution pictures are available for website or print advertising use.

Sales brochures can be downloaded. The point of sale area remains under development; a complete catalogue is planned there. The graphics are free to download for retailers to print as needed or use for reference when ordering.

Additions to all four areas are expected.

There will be regular additions to all of these areas as new data becomes available.

Potandon Produce ships potatoes under the Green Giant Fresh and Klondike Brands labels. It also markets fresh onions.
