Speakers at the National Potato Council’s meeting at Potato Expo 2015 will talk about politics and the future of agriculture marketing.
The event is co-sponsored by the Washington, D.C.-based National Potato Council and is scheduled for Jan. 6-9 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Fla.
Chris Wallace, Washington journalist and host of Fox News Sunday, is scheduled to provide an insider’s look at politics, the White House and the future of America at the Jan. 8 keynote luncheon.
Wallace plans to discuss how the mid-term congressional and gubernatorial elections could affect the remainder of President Obama’s second term and discuss the 2016 race for the White House, according to a news release.
Other speakers include Jim Carroll, an agricultural futurist, Mark Lynas, an author, environmental activist and journalist, and Kelly McDonald, a multicultural marketing and business trends authority.
In its sixth year, the show is expected to attract around 1,900 attendees from all sectors of the industry, including fresh, frozen, chip and seed.
