Eric Meyer has been named sales manager at Prime Time International’s Nogales, Ariz., office.

A Nogales native, Meyer has more than 20 years of experience in the produce market there with companies including SunFed and Wilson Batiz LLC. He will manage sales and grower communications in Nogales for Coachella, Calif.-based Prime Time.

“Eric is the exact prototype we have been searching for,” Mike Way, managing member at Prime Time, said in a news release. “We took our time in making this selection and we know we have an excellent and valued addition to our staff.”

“I am thrilled with this opportunity and look forward to joining one of the true iconic companies in the fresh produce business,” Meyer said.

Jeff Taylor, managing member at Prime Time, confirmed the appointment, which anticipates the upcoming Mexico import season.

Prime Time International grows, packs and ships multi-colored peppers year-round from throughout the U.S. and Mexico. On a seasonal basis it produces tomatoes, watermelons, green beans and corn.
