Produce industry insiders played a few hands of cards and raised $20,000 for the Quebec Produce Marketing Association’s “I Love 5 to 10 Servings a Day” campaign at the group’s annual Cocktail & Poker event.

About 350 people attended the event at the Metropolitan Golf Club in Montreal, according to a news release from QPMA. The $20,000 raised will go to the association’s campaign that works to raise public awareness about healthy eating habits.

The winning card players of the evening were Stephane Bernardi of Canadawide, Lorenzo Scala of Tomato King, and Peter Kalaganis of Via Trans International.
