The Quebec Produce Marketing Association’s 54th annual golf tournament took place July 20 at the Parcours du Cerf golf course in Longeuil, Quebec, where 270 golfers and 330 guests took part in the supper later in the evening, according to a news release.
The $5,000 proceeds from the event went to the Jasmin Roy Foundation. QPMA’s president Robert Beauregard chose the foundation as the beneficiary.
The foundation’s key mission is to fight today’s school dropout issue, according to the release.
The event concluded with presentations of the day’s trophies and a drawling for 60 door prizes.
The 55th annual golf tournament is planned for July 2013.
