Renaissance Food Group hired Chris Schully as corporate chef.

The Rancho Cordova, Calif.-based company created the position for Schully, according to a news release.

Schully has more than 25 years of experience in restaurants, food marketing and hospitality.

Schully previously worked for Taylor Farms as a corporate chef.

“As our business continues to grow, we are fortunate to add Chris to our leadership team,” Jim Catchot, company president, said in a news release. “Chris’ culinary skills, background and experience strengthen our capability to meet customers’ expectations for innovative and profitable new products.”
