Mark Ruma, vice president of Everett, Mass.-based Ruma’s Fruit & Gift Basket World, died May 16. He was 44.
Ruma joined his family’s business in 1989. From 1989 to 1991 he attended Massachusetts Bay Community College.
Ruma’s, in business since 1900, specializes in gift baskets of fresh fruit and other foods. The company also sells wild blueberries from Maine, ramps, fiddlehead ferns and other specialty produce items.
Ruma is survived by his parents, Jim and Mary Ann Ruma; and two sisters, Kate Ruma and Andrea Harrington.
Services are 10 a.m. May 21 at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Norwood, Mass.
