Kingsville, Ontario-based Sunset Produce will partner with chef and food blogger Nikki Dinki to showcase its offerings at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit 2014.
Taking advantage of the show area that has a full gourmet kitchen, Dinki will create appetizers using Sunset products including Campari, Y.E.L.O., Kumato and Wild Wonders, according to a news release.
Her cooking style is “meat on the side” with a focus on healthful, flavor vegetable-based meals, according to a news release.
In addition to being a finalist in season nine of the Food Network Star, Dinki also has a YouTube online video series that demonstrates produce versatility in a variety of meals.
“Nikki is dedicated to teaching people how easy, healthy and flavorful it is to use vegetables as a main dish. Her fresh ideas and recipes make her the perfect addition to our team,” Daniela Ferro, Sunset communications coordinator, said in the release.
Sunset Produce also plans to show off its Eco Flavor System, sustainable packaging that was named a finalist in PMA’s Annual Impact Award.
