Cincinnati, Ohio-based Total Quality Logistics plans to expand its Chicago sales operations by adding 12,000 square feet of office space.

The expansion will accommodate more than 100 current sales employees and another 150 additional people that TQL plans to add by 2015.

“Chicago was the first satellite office we opened when we started our national expansion strategy in 2009,” Kerry Byrne, executive vice president, said in a news release.

The company has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois by The Daily Herald Business Ledger in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago, the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, and the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago, and managed by Best Companies Group, according to the release.
