Total Quality Logistics recently opened a Jacksonville, Fla. sales office, with a goal of adding up to 75 new jobs in the next three years. The new office is the Cincinnati-based company’s fourth office in Florida and 21st office nationwide.

“Jacksonville gives us access to outstanding professional talent,” said Kerry Byrne, executive vice president, in a news release. “Finding the right talent is key to our ability to grow market share within the third party logistics industry.”

The new office currently has 16 employees, six of whom are new hires from the Jacksonville area.

In other news, TQL is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its annual Loads for a Cure promotion. The company donated $1 for every load moved Oct. 21-27 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Fund. This year’s donation came to $16,500, bringing the total contributions to more than $76,000 that TQL has donated to cancer research since 2010.

“Our goal is to celebrate survivors, honor those who have lost their battle, spread awareness, and raise funds for breast cancer research,” Byrne said in the release.
