Watsonville, Calif.-based Well-Pict launched its “Pinning is Slimming” promotion on Pinterest.
Pinterest users can re-pin recipes on Well-Pict’s specially marked boards, then they will comment on the original recipe they re-pinned to be entered into a drawing for a $100 grocery card, according to a news release.
“Well-Pict has a rich history in promoting fresh fruits and vegetables as alternatives to sugary snacks,” Dan Crowley, sales manager for Well-Pict, said in the release. “This promotion allows our consumers to share recipes with each other, and compare tips and ideas for putting healthy foods on the table.”
The “Pinning is Slimming” promotion ends June 30.
Well-Pict is also sponsoring the Produce For Kids “Get Healthy, Give Hope” campaign.
“We’re excited to be hosting the 11th annual Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Meijer stores,” Trish James, vice president at Produce for Kids, said in the release. “Together with partners, like Well-Pict Berries, we’re able to raise funds to support kids in need while also promoting the incorporation of fresh produce into the lives of families.”
