Windset Farms, a Delta, British Columbia-based greenhouse vegetable grower and marketer, has added to two industry veterans to its sales staff.

Matt Modena will be based in California and will cover the western U.S., and Rich Tiveron will be based at the firm’s headquarters and will be responsible for western Canada and the Pacific Northwest, according to a news release.

Modena brings with him 13 years of produce industry experience, the most recent with River Ranch and Taylor Farms. There he helped in product management, commodity sales, national account management and business development.

Tiveron, a Canadian native, most recently was regional operations manager at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers where he managed multiple auction facilities in British Columbia. In that role, he oversaw advertising, equipment sales and administration.

Before that, Tiveron had spent seven years with Mastronardi Produce, Kingsville, Ontario.

“We are very excited to have these two new additions to our team, as their industry knowledge and diverse experience will help strengthen our day-to-day customer relationships throughout Canada and the U.S.,” John Newell, Windset Farms chief operations officer said in the release.
