(Oct. 21, 10:36 a.m.) Nutritionist, chef and author Julia Myall is scheduled to appear at California Giant Inc.’s booth at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit on Oct. 24-27 in Orlando, Fla.

Myall, who wrote a children’s cookbook, “Cook It in a Cup, Quick Meals and Treats Kids can Cook in Silicone Cups,” has developed new recipes exclusively for California Giant Berry Farms, Watsonville, Calif., according to a company news release. The recipes, which will be available at the California Giant booth, are designed for busy cooks.

Myall is the second member of her family to work with California Giant. Her husband is a rider on the company-sponsored cycling team.

Myall, who attended the Culinary Academy in San Francisco, has been a chef at several Northern California restaurants and owns her own catering company, the news release said. Her cookbook for children garnered a silver honor award from Parents Choice Organization.
