Nogales, Ariz.-based Farmer's Best International LLC has invested substantially in water treatment and other sustainability initiatives.

The Nogales, Ariz.-based shipper and Arizona State’s School of Sustainability are partnering on a consumer-focused sustainability study, according to a news release.

The project, now in its early stages, includes a review of academic literature on sustainability practices worldwide and a survey of consumer attitudes and expectations.

Farmer’s Best has invested substantial resources in water treatments, recycling, self-produced fertilizers and alternative pest management, according to the release.
