The milestone comes after 10 years of supporting the foundation, which received a check during a March 26 ceremony at the company’s Salinas offices, according to a news release.

D’Arrigo has contributed between $75,000 and $100,000 annually to the foundation over the past decade.

D’Arrigo products carry a pink ribbon on all its Andy Boy brand products, which in 2009 delivered the message of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation to more than 65 million consumers domestically and internationally, according to the release.

The event marking D’Arrigo’s contribution was attended by company leaders, shareholders and local elected officials.

Myra Biblowit, the President of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation from New York, was also in attendance.
