(July 10) The California Dried Plum Board redesigned its Web site (www.californiadriedplums.org) to update graphic content and information available to consumers, foodservice, media and industrial processors.

“We just wanted to update the look of the site and the graphics,” said Rich Peterson, executive director. “We also wanted to expand the content to provide a better service to users.”

Each of the site’s four sections — consumer, industrial, foodservice and media — contains updated content, Peterson said. New recipes, as well as nutrition facts for existing recipes, were added.

Visitors can register to win a prize pack from the California Dried Plum Board by answering three questions when they log on to the site.
