The blog, which includes posts by the firmâs principal consultant, Paul Kuck, explores local and organic food issues, energy efficiency, green foodservice products, innovative restaurants and industry trends, according to a news release.
âThis will be the only blog on the Web focusing on green foodservice operations,â Kuck said in the release. âI want to use the blog as a way to keep our clients and others continually striving for improvement.â
Through the companyâs existing site, users can find news, information, tips and online tools and resources on sustainability for the foodservice industry. It also includes analysis from consultants on products and services that claim to or aim to aid with sustainability, according to the release.
âBesides the slow food movement, it has taken a while for the foodservice industry to really grab onto the sustainability concept,â Kuck said in the release. âWhile sustainable food is the foundation of sustainability, in this industry, there are many other areas that need to be tacked.â
