Barbara Sido is executive director of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
Sido has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management, according to a news release.
Her most recent position was vice president of knowledge and professional practice for the American Institute of Architects, New York. She was also foundation director and chief knowledge officer for the American School Food Service Association, now the Alexandria, Va.-based School Nutrition Association, and deputy executive director of Business and Professional Women USA.
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation provides educational and awareness programs, particularly in the areas of food safety and restaurant management, for the industryâs workforce.
