CHICAGO — A-B-C Packaging Machine Corp., Tarpon Springs, Fla., used Pack Expo 2012 Oct. 28-31 at McCormick Place to introduce several new products with fresh produce industry applications, including a stainless steel palletizer that "automatically accumulates, stacks, palletizes and ejects … and is washdown-ready," said Diane Sinicrope, president of Clearwater, Fla.-based Advertising & Marketing Associates Inc., which represents A-B-C.

Among the new products the company launched at the show were the Model 70 Partition Inserter, the Model 206 Case Packer, the Model 330HS Case Erector, the Model 436 Top Case Sealer and the Model 72AGSS palletizer.

Model 436 seals cases with tape and an optional drop-in sealing module that installs in five minutes.

Model 72AGSS boasts rugged components for long machine life in plants producing food products, among other things. This palletizer runs cases, multi-packs, bags, trays and totes at high speeds and in multiple pallet patterns, all pre-programmed for quick changeover.
