CombiScale Inc., Opa Locka, Fla., is offering PrimoWeigher 360, combination scales with what it calls an industry-first open-frame design.

The design allows customers to quickly strip down the machine and clean it.

The machine’s electronics are housed in an electrical panel, remote from the scale, according to a news release, to prevent damage from vibration or during washes.

The machine’s hopper is height-adjusted and rotates out, without tools, during a change of product or cleaning. All buckets, chutes and pans can also be removed without tools, according to the release.

The scales are available in with as many as 24-head configurations with as big as 5-liter bucket sizes, and can operate at speeds as fast as 200 cycles per minute.
