RedLine Solutions, a maker of traceability systems, has added mobile computers to its cooler application to improve accuracy and productivity in sub-zero temperatures.

The computers are manufactured by Norcross, Ga.-based LXE Inc., which specializes in mobile computers and scanners specifically designed for use in harsh environments, according to a news release from Santa Clara, Calif.-based RedLine.

RedLine Cooler, used by growers, packers and shippers, tracks produce once it enters a company’s cold storage facility.

“Our chief goal is to install reliable mobile systems that allow our clients to quickly and accurately track product. This means from the instant it’s received at the cooler through shipment to customers,” Todd Baggett, chief executive officer of RedLine, said in the release. “The addition of LXE allows us to support customers with needs in sub-zero environments.”
