A&A Organic Marketing Inc. has added organic purple garlic to its product lineup.

Watsonville, Calif.-based A&A is packing the Mexican-grown garlic under its Monarch Organic label, according to a company news release.

A&A is offering retailers 30-pound bulk boxes and three-count sleeve packs, packed 25 to a box. With an eye on Canadian markets, the packs come in English and French.

The company also will pack organic white garlic from Mexico, beginning in May.

To meet East Coast demand for the product, A&A is partnering with Kennett Square, Penn.-based Manfredi’s Cold Storage & Distribution Inc., which will store and load organic white garlic.

A&A also sources organic garlic from Argentina, giving it January to June coverage.

The company also plans to expand into California, which would give year-round coverage.
