Ocean Mist updates the site weekly, allowing consumers to choose the region where they live and then view retailersâ artichoke promotions based on their locations.
The company alerts consumers about updates to the website through Facebook and Twitter pages. Ocean Mist has more than 1,300 Facebook followers and almost 800 followers on Twitter.
âWe know shoppers are looking for value and we want to use every tool we have to communicate with them when our retail partners are promoting artichokes,â Kori Tuggle, director of marketing and business development, said in the release. âThis is another vehicle that creates dialogue with our consumers. Retailers active on social media outlets also pick up our posts and share the artichoke sale prices with their engaged consumers.â
Since the page was launched, it has received more than 10,000 views weekly.
