In January, Ocean Mist Farms, Castroville, Calif., plans to debut a new online digital recipe booklet featuring soups and salads.

For the holidays, Ocean Mist’s Web site will feature both Crock Pot recipes and holiday menu recipes based on feedback from visitors to the site, according to a news release.

Ocean Mist has tracked consumer recipe demand and trends since starting an online recipe library three years ago and the results show this consumers search in the fall for slow cooking recipes, followed by searches for holiday menu ideas and recipes, according to the release.

“We aim to go beyond just offering a recipe to our site visitors,” said Kori Tuggle, Ocean Mist marketing manager, in the release.

Ocean Mist said it receives a monthly average of 30,000 unique visitors to the Web site, with more than half of them searching specifically for artichoke recipes.
