This October, the Pink Ribbon Produce campaign enters its fourth year raising money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure program for breast cancer research.

For every participating product sold at Matthews, N.C.-based Harris Teeter Inc., Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer and Schenectady, N.Y.-based Price Chopper stores, a percentage goes directly to the program.

The program has raised $209,423, said Trish Moratto, a public relations associate for Consumer Effects International, which runs the Pink Ribbon Campaign.

The program runs Oct. 4 through Oct. 31 at Harris Teeter and Meijer and Oct. 11 through Nov. 7 at Price Chopper.
