Through a rebranding program, a leading Southeastern greens grower-shipper is giving its website a makeover. Pelion, S.C.-based Walter P Rawl & Sons Inc. has relaunched

Featuring news and product information and recipes and cooking tips, the company wants the site, revamped on Oct. 11, to become a central location and communication resource for consumer and produce trade information, according to a news release.

To appeal to retailers, the site features information on all of Rawl’s product lines, brands and product specifications, including its Nature’s Green’s, Versatile Veggies and Lazy Town brands.

The website also features information on the company and its food safety efforts.

The consumer part of the site showcases Rawl’s fresh greens and Versatile Veggies fresh-cut products, the heart of Rawl’s sales, and displays the products through pictures, in-depth recipes and cooking tips and nutritional information.

“As a leader in fresh greens, we wanted to provide a resource that included delicious, yet easy recipes and cooking tips for greens, that helps bridge the gap between consumer interest and consumer action,” Ashley Rawl, director of sales, marketing and product development, said in the release. “We think our new website provides easy to use information for both retailers and consumers that will allow to be an important resource for fresh greens and our other various products.”
