BERLIN — Fruit Logistica's expo floor opened Feb. 3, with more than 2,300 exhibitors from 71 countries displaying everything from fresh produce to innovations in packaging, traceability and sustainability.

More than two dozen U.S. companies — and eight in a new Canadian Pavillion — are exhibiting during Fruit Logistica Feb. 3-5.

About 50,000 produce industry representatives and buyers from 125 countries are expected at this year's exposition and conference, according to a news release.

A series of seminars are scheduled in connection with the event, ranging from market access opportunities for exporters and importers, standardization of product coding/traceability systems, and new trends in packaging.
