(Jan. 6, 2:30 p.m.) The Eagle-based Idaho Potato Commission is uniting with a few new products for its annual retail display contest.

Mrs. Dash seasoning blends and Molly McButter products will be co-merchandised with Idaho potatoes in participating stores in February. All qualified entrants will receive a free DVD/MP3 player and more than $150,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to winners, according to a news release.

A point-of-sale display kit is available to retailers at www.idahopotato.com/retail. The kit includes four two-sided display pieces, two inflatable Spuddy Buddy mascots and a sign with photos of prepared potatoes. Clip art is also available for creating custom display signs.

Qualifying displays are required to include both fresh and dehydrated Idaho potatoes, Mrs. Dash seasoning blends and Molly McButter powdered products.

The contest runs the entire month of February, and all entries must be received by the commission by March 31. The commission plans to notify the winners by May 1.
